Characteristics of sudden psychological trauma:


Acute Stress Disorder (ASD) refers to the emotional distress, cognitive confusion, and behavioral reactions experienced by individuals after experiencing a sudden, brief, traumatic event. These events typically include natural disasters (such as earthquakes and floods), accidents (such as car accidents and fires), and violent incidents (such as terrorist attacks and robberies).
