2. Recipe and Method
Recipe (1–2 servings):
- 40g of mung beans, soaked in advance
- 50 g japonica rice
- 850 ml of clean water
- A little rock sugar, optional
- 15g of lily bulbs (optional)

- Rinse the rice thoroughly. If using lily bulbs, soak them in advance until soft.
- Add mung beans and water to a pot and bring to a boil over high heat.

- If adding lily bulbs, add them in the latter half to maintain a soft texture.
- Once the porridge has thickened, add a small amount of rock sugar as needed, and simmer for 2 minutes.
