Today, I want to gently approach you with this theme: Write down your worries, and also write down the parts you can control. If worries remain in your mind, they will grow vast, like a boundless fog. The more you try to understand them, the more you are enveloped by them; the more you try to find answers, the more complicated things seem. Writing them down isn't to make you a completely rational person, but to give your worries a visible shape. Please prepare a piece of paper and write down all your worries. Don't arrange them in order, don't write them beautifully, and don't make them complete. Write down whatever comes to mind, even just a few words. After you've finished writing, gently draw a line to divide each worry into three categories: those I can control, those I can influence but can't completely control, and those I can't control for the time being. For the first category, you can write down a small action, such as sending a message, organizing materials, scheduling an appointment, or drinking water and resting. For the second category, you can write down a communication or preparation, such as expressing a need, asking a question, or making a plan. For the third category, please write a closing statement, such as, "I can't control this right now, but I can take care of myself in the present moment." This exercise is important because anxiety often makes you feel responsible for everything, while depression makes you feel like you can't do anything. After categorizing, you'll find that some things can indeed be done, some things need to wait, and some things shouldn't be your burden alone. Remember, the controllable part is usually small, but it truly exists. The uncontrollable part also truly exists and needs to be acknowledged, not solved by self-blame. After writing it down, you can do a finishing touch: close the paper, drink some water, stand up, and tell yourself: I've put my worries on paper; I don't need to let them continue to occupy the whole evening. After reading it aloud, please write down one worry and next to it, write down a small portion of what you can control today.

○ Guided Music Therapy: When writing down your worries, choose a simple, repetitive piece of music to help calm your mind. ◉ Japanese Dietary Therapy: Cold Tofu and Buckwheat Bowl
I. Recommended Dietary Therapy and Reasons
Recommended dishes:Cold Tofu and Buckwheat Bowl (Light and Stable)
Recommended reasons:This lesson involves writing down your worries, as well as the controllable aspects. A light, cool bowl is perfect for accompanying your writing and organizing, allowing chaotic worries to settle from your mind onto paper.
2. Recipe and Method
Recipe (1–2 servings):
- 80g buckwheat noodles
- Half a block of soft tofu
- A small amount of cucumber shreds
- 1 teaspoon of light sauce
- A small amount of white sesame seeds
practice:
- Wash the main ingredients thoroughly. Prepare the parts that need to be peeled, sliced, or shredded by cutting them into small, easy-to-eat pieces.
- The buckwheat noodles, served chilled, are paired with tofu and a light sauce, making for a light yet satisfying meal.
- Keep the seasoning light, with less salt and sugar, and avoid using strong flavors that overpower the ingredients, making it easier for the body to accept.
- During the preparation process, you can slow down your movements and treat washing, cutting, boiling, and mixing as a small exercise to bring your attention back to the present moment.
- After serving, let it cool slightly to a comfortable temperature before eating to avoid putting extra strain on your body if it's too hot or too cold.
- Take your first bite slowly, savoring the aroma, temperature, and texture before letting your body decide whether to continue.
- If you have a poor appetite that day, you can eat a small amount. There is no need to force yourself to finish it. The key is to let your body know that you are being taken care of.
3. Small rituals for body and mind
When preparing a cold tofu and buckwheat bowl, you can first arrange the ingredients neatly so you can see their colors, shapes, and delicate textures. This small action can help your attention gradually shift from anxiety, depression, or recurring worries back to the present moment.
While waiting for your food to finish, give yourself three slow breaths. You don't need to immediately explain all your emotions or solve all your problems; just let your body know that you are safe at this moment.
When you take your first bite, focus on the temperature, aroma, and soft texture. You can gently tell yourself: I'm taking care of myself; I'm willing to slow down; I can start over.
4. Dietary Therapy Experience Record
- Record the time of consumption: whether it is breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a meal to settle down after emotional fluctuations.
- Observe changes in stomach comfort, body temperature, mental stability, and mood intensity within 30–60 minutes after consumption.
- If you consume it on days when you feel particularly anxious or down, you can keep track of whether it helps you slow down or gives your body a greater sense of security.

- Those with sensitive stomachs, pregnant women, those with chronic diseases, or those currently taking medication should prioritize following the advice of medical professionals and nutritionists.

Mandala Viewing Healing
When writing down your worries and what you can control, please observe a clearly defined mandala. Write what you can control in the center, what you can influence in the second circle, and what you cannot control for the time being in the outer circle. The image will remind you that not everything is your responsibility, and the small things you can control are already worth cherishing.

○ Calligraphy and engraving therapy practice
This calligraphy and seal engraving exercise has no specific content and does not require perfect character formation. When early warning signs appear, focus your attention on holding the pen, placing the pen, pausing, and breathing, allowing the repetitive hand movements to gradually calm your nerves. When early signs appear, do not panic; let the movements help you pause for a moment and choose to care for yourself again. Please take it slowly. The focus of the exercise is not on how many characters you complete, but on maintaining a reliable sense of stability in each stroke, gently accompanying yourself through the day.

○ Art Therapy Guidance
Imagine your worries as many small pebbles, then draw three baskets: controllable, influenceable, and temporarily uncontrollable. Place each pebble into a different basket. As you draw, feel the responsibility being gradually categorized, rather than all of it weighing on your heart. Finally, color the "controllable" basket to remind yourself: today, only deal with the small portion that you can do.
Please log in before submitting your drawings and feelings.
